WIDZEW BERGEN: Monolithic 8 mm steel and double efficiency
Stoves of the Bergen series — are the embodiment of flawless Dutch minimalism and uncompromising industrial strength. Created as an analogue of premium European fireplaces, the WIDZEW BERGEN series has been completely reimagined from an engineering perspective to provide maximum durability and fast heating for your home.
⚡ 5 main engineering advantages of WIDZEW BERGEN:
- «Body-in-body» technology with convection channels:
The inner firebox of the stove is built as a separate, independent steel unit integrated inside a powerful outer structural frame. Special air channels between them operate on the principle of a natural heat pump: they draw cold air from below, rapidly heat it along the walls of the red-hot firebox, and release it in a powerful stream into the room.
- Armored structural frame (8 mm Steel):
The outer body of the stove is made of ultra-thick 8 mm structural steel. This guarantees tremendous structural monumentality, absolute resistance to any thermal deformation, and a service life measured in generations.
- Two deflectors for maximum efficiency:
Unlike standard direct-flow stoves, Bergen features two sequential deflectors (flame baffle plates). They extend the path of flue gases inside the chamber, forcing the fuel to burn completely. As a result, the stove delivers significantly more heat into the room, achieving an ultra-high efficiency of 83%.
- Panoramic view and deep firebox:
Thanks to maintaining full internal depth (400 mm) even in the wide-format model, firewood is kept at a safe distance from the glass. The «clean glass» system works flawlessly, and large standard logs up to 35 cm long easily fit into the firebox.
- Three design options for any interior:
The series is available in three signature modifications to meet your needs: the concise low-profile Bergen Base, the classic European version with a Wood Store, and an architectural execution on an elegant central pedestal Bergen Column.
